There used to be a website here.

I used to have a website at this domain.

It had quite a nice portfolio, if I do say so myself, with stories about previous work: projects I'd worked on, challenges faced during the projects, detail about my role on the project, how I managed stakeholders, what I learned from it, things I would do differently next time, and maybe even a few artefacts from the design process that I could talk about if I needed to. All kinds of good stuff like that.

The problem with these things is that they can be time-consuming to create and maintain, and often end up horribly out of date.

Case in point: the most recent portfolio item on the site was more than 5 years old!

That’s not ideal, is it?

Thus I’ve taken the bold decision to remove the website in its entirety.

It's fine—I have a backup, and at some point in the future I’ll probably create a new one to replace this page, with more recent and relevant portfolio examples and stories about the work I’ve been doing. But until then, it’s just going to be this page.

That’s ok, right? I mean, it’s hardly the strangest thing 2020 has thrown at us, is it?

Anyway, now you know.

Stay safe, wash your hands, wear a mask, and I’ll see you on the other side.

Thanks,
QB.
